Chiropractic Tip of the Month:
The Four R's of Chiropractic
BJ Palmer, the son of the founder of chiropractic, suggested
the concept of Re-hydration, Rest, Rejuvenation and
Realignment.
Re-Hydration is necessary because almost every process in
the body invoves water. Many suffer energy loss and lack of
healing due to insufficient fluid intake.
Rest includes adequate sleep, quiet time and meditation.
Rejuvenation involves the use of proper nutrition and
invigorating forms of exercise.
Realignment of the spine is necessary for the proper
functioning and revitalization of the organs and cells.
Follow these 4 R's to a a vibrant and healthy life. |

Naturopathic
Tip of the Month:
Vitamin D
Vitamin D has become a popular topic. Vitamin D is a
fat-soluble vitamin that has the properties of both a
vitamin and a hormone. The largest source of Vitamin D is
exposure to the sun. Twenty minutes of sunlight per day is
sufficient to ensure adequate amounts and prevent some
episodes of depression. Most people lack sun exposure in the
winter and therefore suffer from Vitamin D deficiency. Cod
liver oil, dairy and eggs are excellent sources of Vitamin D
as the weather begins to cool off and for those winter days
that are just too cold for a brisk walk. Before beginning
any supplementation program it is important to consult with
your Naturopathic Doctor.
