What can I expect at my appointment?
At your initial one-hour session, our kinesiologist John Gray will comprehensively assess your current fitness and health status, review medical diagnoses, and collaborate with your healthcare providers as needed. Together, you’ll discuss your health goals and formulate a customized exercise and lifestyle plan to help reach your goals.
Follow-up sessions, available for 30 or 60 minutes, are tailored to meet your individual needs. You may choose supervised kinesiology sessions at the clinic, virtual sessions, or a combination based on your convenience.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and footwear suitable for your usual physical activities.
Is kinesiology covered under OHIP or my Extended Health Insurance?
Kinesiology services at King West Chiropractic Health Centre are not covered by OHIP. However, many extended health insurance plans offer coverage for kinesiology. Please verify your policy details with your insurance provider or contact our clinic for assistance.
Work-related injuries may have coverage through WSIB’s Musculoskeletal Programs of Care.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No doctor’s referral is required to consult John Gray, Registered Kinesiologist. However, coordinating with your physician is beneficial for comprehensive management of chronic conditions, cancer recovery, or workplace-related injuries.
