3 easy adjustments for your work-station to prevent injury:
1. | EYES: Make sure you are sitting at eye-level to the top of your computer screen. Looking down or up at your monitor will strain your neck and may lead to headaches and excessive neck tension. |
2. | ELBOWS: Ensure your elbows are close to your waist and body when typing. Pulling your chair close to your computer and/or pulling your keyboard closer to your body will prevent tendonitis. |
3. | KNEES: Avoid crossing your legs when sitting. Your ideal chair height should allow your knees to be at ninety degrees when sitting. |
