Dr. Kristine Lyons graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1997. In 1992, prior to attending CMCC, Dr. Lyons completed her 4 year Bachelor of Science degree, with a specialization in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph.
MoreSince graduating, Dr. Lyons has completed numerous Pediatric Chiropractic courses with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, learning various techniques to adjust pregnant women and children. She also completed an extensive 2-year Acupuncture course through the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and currently incorporates acupuncture in her practice. In 2007, Dr. Lyons started incorporating the Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique (a low force adjusting instrument) into her practice and is now one of 4 Advanced Proficiency rated Chiropractors in Toronto.
As a strong believer in Chiropractic care as a natural approach to a healthier well-being, Dr. Lyons believes that Chiropractic care will keep people of all ages stronger, more agile and flexible. A healthy nervous system means that your body can function more optimally. A former Varsity Field Hockey player and an avid long distance runner ( having completed 7 Half Marathons and many 10 km races), Dr. Lyons also enjoys spinning, lifting weights, riding her bike to work, volunteering, reading, listening to pod casts and walking her dog Marlee.
Dr. Lyons’ philosophy on staying healthy includes a healthy mind and body. Dr Lyons meditates on a daily basis and includes Chiropractic care, Acupuncture, Massage therapy and Rolfing as part of her health routine.
